Aaron White didn’t allow a single run as Irmo Yellow Jackets 2017 Varsity defeated Ridge View 15-0 on Saturday, February 25th. White allowed just one hit in the victory.
An early lead helped propel the Irmo Yellow Jackets to victory and they scored on a passed ball, a single by Cam Felkel, and a double by Jeremy Massalou in the first inning. Irmo scored eight runs in the fourth inning as they scored on a walk by Massalou, a walk by Isaiah Canty, a walk by Sully Mosley, an error, a fielder’s choice by Mason Lassiter, a walk by Nolan Burdette, and a fielder’s choice by Tyler Johnson.
Aaron White earned the win for Yellow as he threw four innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, striking out five, and walking zero. Cory Miller took the loss for Ridge View. He went three innings, surrendering seven runs, eight hits, and striking out four.
The Yellow Jackets collected nine hits. Canty and Felkel each collected multiple hits for while Luke Winslow, Nolan Burdette, and Canty each drove in two runs in the win.
